RECRUITMENT Spring 2018!

When is Rush?

Rush week is typically held during the first two weeks of each fall and spring semester.

Rush week is comprised of events that give interested new recruits a chance to get to know the ladies of Delta Chi Lambda and ask any questions they may have as well as experience what Delta Chi Lambda has to offer.

"If I participate in Rush, do I have to join?"

There are no obligations as rush week is just a time to make new friends and learn more about our sorority. We understand that joining a sorority is a big decision, so rush week gives interested girls an opportunity to experience it. There is no obligation from either party: a rushee is not required to join, and in turn, attending rush week does not guarantee a bid.

"What is a Bid?"

A bid is a formal invitation to become a new recruit and go through the recuitment program. Be sure to attend our events to give us a chance to get to know you!

"I'm not sure if Greek Life is for me."

Greek life definitely isn't for everyone, but because we aren't like other sororities, we bring diversity to the Greek system. Still not convinced? That's what rush is for. Rush is for you to get to know us, and because it is commitment free and well, free in general, it doesn't hurt to come check us out.
